Located 12 km south of P.V. is a little village called Mismaloya. All I remember about it is that there is a very luxurious hotel nearby, and that 5 km north from there "El Eden" is located. "El Eden" is by the way a typical tourist trap, and you'll find it as an attraction in any guide book.
We felt like hiking for one day so we decided to visit a place where "Predator" movie was filmed. So the walk is up this dirty road, it takes one hour up-hill. Along the way I saw the following:
- boring village
- small tequilla factory,
- nothing at all,
- pigs and cows,
- nothing at all,
- zoo that was closed and in awful shape as we could see from outside (maybe due to the off-season),
- more nothing,
- Chino's Paraiso (nice oasis with a restaurant by the river - closed as well),
- a few tourists mostly on horses and in buses, and finally
- El Eden restaurant where nothing unusual is to be seen. A decent restaurant is located there however prices are rip off - of course - this is tourist attraction. There is a helicopter from the movie to be seen and that is about it.

At Least Do This: So unless you have absolutely nothing else to do - visit El Eden - I don't recommend it.
Alternative: Much more fun is visiting other villages around (Bucerias for example) and taking a walk on the beach.
