Perfect Mix of local and touristy activities I was not quite sure what to expect from Puerto Vallarta. I knew I wanted to spend my vacation in authentic Mexican town, stay in a place with decent night life, and enjoy sun and the sea.
From the first moment I stood on the ground of Puerto Vallarta, I knew that this is what I was looking for. |
| | Lots to offer This town and its surroundings offered me what I was looking for - adventure, relxation, taste of local culture, excellent night life, and nice beaches. |
What we did... We spent here 7 days, stayed in 2 different hotels (both in downtown romantic zone), visited surrounding villages and beaches of Mismaloya, Bucherias, and Boca de Tomatlan, met a few locals (and other tourists), explored the area, and tasted local food. I have no regrets... | | |

jamiesno Mon Nov 1, 2004 23:17 UTC Helpful tourist trap tip, PV might be somewhat famous because of a movie shot there but that's not a reason to visit.....the reason is the same reason why they chose to do a movie there. It's spectacular scenary. | JetlagCity Mon Aug 30, 2004 22:56 UTC Good job finding the best local bar, Viejo Vallarta sounds like a lot of fun! |
