Toronto is a largest city in Canada and a capital of Ontario. More than one third of Canada's population live in or within 160km of Toronto. Population of Toronto Metropolitan area is around 4.5 mil. It is also Canada's business, financial, traffic and entertainment center.

I live in Toronto since August 2000. This city treated me pretty badly so far, but I still like it. If you live here everything is complicated, from connecting your home phone until taking the car for a service. I guess if you come as a tourist you won't have to experience such things. Regardless, living in America I can not think of any other city where I would find better combination of things that matter to me.

What impressed me the most is racial and cultural diversity here. More than one third of population speak language different than english at home. But we all get along very well.
