It is not easy getting here actually. But even the ride to Motovun should be part of experience...Last time I was in the town, my friends took me here from Porec - 30km distance. It was evening and it was dark. Road was the worst one I have ever seen in my life. Also there were no lights anywhere and no traffic. Then after an hour of a kind of scary ride Motovun appeared like out of nowhere on the hill looking like an ancient castle and I was amazed by the way this pretty town looked like and where it was hidden.
