Cordoba is the most romantic town we've seen during our stay in Spain. It has plenty of impressive architectural reminders of when Cordoba was one of the largest cities in the world. What makes it so romantic are numerous floral patio arrangements, cozy narrow cobble streets, pictoresque restaurants, and absence of any kind of noise. |
| | Old town Old town is strictly reserved for tourists, and there is plenty of attractive hotels and restaurants in the area. |
| | Where are all the locals? We did only spend one day here but I didn't expect it would be so hard to find the local gathering place. We did find it eventually - it was the Placa Colon.
Nothing too fancy, mostly interesting for people watching. There is a no traffic zone full of shops in the neighbourhood as well. |
