Tiny secluded village

40km away from the ferry docks close to Paquera on Nicoya peninsula, Motezuma is hidden. It is a small village that special clientele only visits. Most younger tourists are here, campers and surfers. It seems that most of them stay here for a long time....

There are only two streets in the village and that is where all the shops, restaurants, and agencies are.

The Beach

Beach doesn't look impressive at the first sight but looks very natural and that is why I found it beautiful. It is great for hiking and water is warm.

Ocean side village

What caught my attention is a real village (with chickens and geese) right on the ocean side. Never saw that before.

Pros and Cons

Pros:Quiet, secluded, away from all the stress....

Very interesting recommendations on Montezuma beach; I'd never thought of its existence without them. Yours are very informative and entertaining pages, indeed.
