Historical ruins and remains discovered in areas such as the famous beach zone Haeundae and the new urban development area of Jwa-dong and Jung-dong and shell mounds of the Neolithic Age in Busan area suggest that people started living in the region around BC13,000. in 1407 Busan port was opened and in 1876 the city was known as an International port.in 1949 with population about 470,000 Busan was known as a city by korean government.
Busan enjoys a pleasant temperate climate and four distinct seasons. There is not a great difference in temperature from summer to winter, typical of a maritime climate. Even though the region has quite strong wind compared to other regions in Korea.
Built upon a site near Haeundae beach and the former Suyeong Airfield, Busan Exhibition and Convention Center ( BEXCO ) has a main Exhibition Hall of 26,000 sq.m.
BEXCO hosts numerous events each year.
