It's March - so I would say it's Autumn right now. At 7.00 p.m. the streets are dark and the quietness in the city is also because, well, it's Sunday evening! I'm on a 1 hour pit-stop... Just got down from the Greyhound bus and the first landmark I see is the Cinema.
Quiet as it is, there's still life at night where food is served! Segafredo's happens to be my favourite coffee and what a pleasant surprise to see a signboard saying a church band's playing tonight... cos it's Sunday!
Wow, not that I ate there... Being Malaysian Chinese, I felt right at home... well, except for the fact that the weather in Toowoomba's much cooler than hot hot Malaysia.

You have summed Toowoomba up well in your tips. It is the closest 'big' city to where I live and we often shop there but as you say nothing super special. Type of place that is great to live in but not really a tourist attraction!
