Scranton is located in Northeastern Pennsylvania at the western edge of the Pocono Mountains. This city is the center of the Anthracite Coal region. It was largely built as a result of the railroads. This was the primary hub of the Lackawanna Railroad.

    Great overview! Most likely will be visiting Steamtown next week while in the Poconos.
