Because Rotorua is built around geysers there is often an overwhelming sulphur smell in the air. When first arriving this smell can be a bit off-putting but I can assure you that it is something you quickly get used to.
Have a mud bath - it is an unbelievable experience....go on be brave and get down and dirty!!! |
