The Antonin Dvorak Park
In this park you will find the Park Colonnade and the Military Spa House (the white building) The Spa House has been used since this time to the present, for the members of the army seeking 'treatment'
The Bath I
The Bath I, was built in 1893-1895 in the French Renaissance style, according to the plans of Viennese architects Ferdinand Fellner and Hermann Helmer (yes, another one)
Grand Hotel Pupp
The best hotel in town, the Grand Hotel Pupp, located at the far end of the spa area, is worth a look. It was built by the Viennese architects Hellmer and Fellmer, and the public rooms are stunning -- pillars, a stained-glass atrium, massive chandeliers and stucco cherubs.
The City Theatre
The City Theatre of Karlovy Vary was built between 1884 and 1886. This renovated theatre building, built by master architects Ferdinand Fellner and Hermann Helmer in the Art Noveau style, is the architectural jewel of Karlovy Vary
The Russian-Orthodox Church of St. Peter and Paul
Completed in 1897 and built in the typical Byzantine style. The construction project was made by the architect Gustav Wiedermann from Franzensbad and it was based on building plans of the Russian academic Uchtomsk. The interior of the church is decorated with paintings and icons, gifts of wealthy Russian guests from the close of the 19th century.

Park Colonnade
The Park Colonnade was built from cast-iron prefabricated elements in 1881. It was a part of concert hall and park restaurant - called The Blanensky Pavilion, which was designed by Vienna architects Fellner and Helmer.
The Colonnade functioned as a promenade connecting The Park Spring springing in the basement of Military Balneal Institute, with the concert hall.
Mill Colonnade
The colonnade has 124 columns; the colonnade orchestra podium is decorated by allegoric relieves by a Carlsbad sculptor, Vaclav Lokvenc. Twelve allegoric sculptures representing months of the year stand on the baluster railing of the roof terrace.
Mill Colonnade
The Mill Colonnade, called also Zitek's Colonnade, is the largest Karlovy Vary colonnade and one of the symbols of the town. The New Renaissance Style building is 132 meters long and 13 meters wide. It covers five springs - The Mill Spring, The Rock Spring, The Libuse's, The Count Wenceslas', and The Water Nymph's Springs.
Sprudal Spring
Karlovy Vary has twelve mineral springs, each one with a different chemical composition, even different temperature. The one at the picture is the Sprudal, the oldest spring in use, right since the 13th century.
This is also the largest and hottest of the springs (12m hight, 72 degrees celcius)
You can taste the water (the temperatures varies from 30-75 degrees). The water is free but it is a good idea to buy one of the special cups when you drink the water. The taste is very special and it is said to have a fantastic influence on the body.
Tepla River
This is the Tepla River, which runs through the main part of Karlovy Vary. The buildings follow the shape of the valley and most of them back directly onto the steep hills behind them. These are some of the many beautiful buildings in Karlovy Vary
