At the top of Brandenburg Gate there is a sculpture called “Quadriga” . In 1806 when Napoleon passed beneath this gate as conqueror of Prussia, he ordered that this triumphal chariot should be sent to Paris to adorn one of his own arches of triumph there. But after Napoleon's downfall the Prussians brought it back to Berlin and restored the Goddess of Victory to her throne on the Brandenburg Gate.- En la cima de la Puerta de Brandenburgo hay una escultura conocida como "Cuadriga".

This museum host the beautiful Ishtar Gate. This gate from Babylon dates from the sixth century BC. The glazed tiles, mostly in blue, are in astonishingly good condition given the age. Large pieces from the Processional Way leading up to the Ishtar Gate decorate both sides of the passage.-

The Reichstag, the seat of the German Parliament, is one of Berlin's most historical landmarks. It is close to the Brandenburg Gate and before the unification, it was right next to the wall. In April 1999, the seat of German government was transferred back from Bonn to Berlin. Now that Germany is unified, the Parliament will be here in Berlin.

Inside the Reichstag, there are winding spiral ramps that go up and down around the dome, enabling both a view outside and inside down to the seats of the parliament. The slope of the ramp is slight and makes for easy walking. Be prepared to wait for a while, because queues to entry can be very long

The wall that once devided the city is almost completely gone. There are a few remnants including the East Side Gallery located across from the East Berlin rail station. It consists of a 1.3 kilometre long section of the Berlin Wall along Mühlenstrasse, on which artists from all over the world painted 106 murals in 1990 Another section is across the river from the Reichstag
