High Springs Travel Guide: 16 reviews and 24 photos

In case you haven't guessed by now, I'm totally into the natural settings offered by every place I've ever visited or will visit. Being born and raised near one of the largest tourist traps known to man, I have grown to detest almost everything that exalts man made things while ignoring the wonders of nature. Florida will always be my home, and some of the most aweing and wonderous places in Florida go unnoticed way too often. Ponce De Leon came to this penninsula looking for the fountain of youth, which he thought was buried deep within the multitude of natural springs hidden among Florida's abundant lush foliage. He did not find his long searched for fountain of youth, but he did find never ending springs that flowed with the purest of water that seemed to never cease. This page is to help shed a little light on the beauty which most have taken for granted, tried to destroy, or just out right ignored.
