    • Glasgow center looks like tiny New York (I am shortsighted I admit) And there are plenty of people in the streets on Friday - Saturday evening. It looks quite cheerful. There is Riverside club if you want to visit Ceilich every Friday and Saturday. A lot of information about what is up in the evening you can find in Metro (it is free newspaper in the busses and underground) Plenty of very nice concerts and festivals...Pubs, of course...Probably some quantity of martial arts knowledge will be of help just to keep the conversation polite.
