In July 2007 I spent 12 days in that amazing country full of contrastses: -Relaxed people like they have no anything to do on one side and unbelevable crowed and rush on the streets of Cairo on the other side. -Huge dead desert and lush greenery of the Nile river delta full of life -Big poverty of the people in the middle of the highly rich nature. -Poor parts of the city and next to them luxury vilas of the milioners. -Masive building structures and miniature unfinished ruined houses. -Women in the bikinies and women dressed according to the strict islam rules, covered from head to the thumb of their feet laying arround the pool next to each other -Unberable heat during the day and refreshing nights even chili near desert. -Lights and the shades of the temples...... |

mircaskirca Sat Oct 20, 2007 20:08 UTC Excellent overview of Egypt Vesna! Hope you are going to enjoy Greece as much as you did Egypt! :) | Kuznetsov_Sergey Tue Sep 11, 2007 17:54 UTC Thanks Vesna for reminding me highlights of Egypt (though I'vent been to Memphis and Saqqara). May be you know that Cairo's taxis are old Russian Ladas (Zhiguli) as a rule! I refused to ride by a camel for 25 LE. You are right, I felt it's too expensive! | ncfg Thu Sep 6, 2007 18:58 UTC Great page Vesna. Egypt is lovely! | JLBG Thu Aug 23, 2007 04:50 UTC You obviously had a great time in Egypt! Thanks for sharing! |
