A way back to 1979 and than again in1980, I visited Zakopane. That was the place in which I made my first skiing "steps" and a place of which I cherish my memories dearly.
All photos are left somewhere in my parents house. I've tryed to find them but couldn't. If I do one day I will replace the existing with some bad ,old and faded but still MINE.

I guess Zakopane has changed a lot since 1980's, I wonder what you'd say about it now. I have fond memories connected with it too, thanks for sharing.

Would love a cable car ride up the high Tatras - The wooden churches in Zakopane style made by local craftsmen would be interesting to see :) nice to recall your memories here too!!

Fabulous start with brilliant photos. Brings back memories of my daytrip from Krakow to Zakopane. Unfortuntaly I hadn't as nice weather as you had.
