Restaurant Name: All over the city

Some traditional Czech food should not be missed: goulash or pork meat with potato pancakes or dumplings with cabbage; medovnik ( honey pie-cake) and pancakes with hot fruit served with ice cream and wiped cream. I tryed it all so I can recomend it to you.
Medovnik can also be found in the supermarkets, it is good too but it is better in the restaurants.

Restaurant Name: Novomestky Pivovar

Novomestky Pivovar (New Town Brewery) is tourist trap. The place is crowded with touristic groups, the staff is not very kind (or they don't have time to be), the food was not so good and it was more expencive than other Breweris around the town.

Favorite Dish: Beter find another Bohemian restaurant where locals go.

Restaurant Name: Cafe Slavia

Take seat next to window and enjoy the views at the river and Prague Castle. At the time we were there, it was packed with tourist but with locals too. I didn't like the interior but the views had made for it.

Favorite Dish: We just had the coffies and mineral waters.

Restaurant Name: Klub Kampa

We set outside. It was simple but nice, just like I imaggined the traditional czech restaurant. The wooden tables and benches gave the looks. The stuff was kind and helpful.

Favorite Dish: Smoked pork knee with cabbage and dumplings. Enlarge the photo ! The food looks great.

Restaurant Name: Cafe Louvre

If this was good enough for such famous people like Albert Einstein Franz Kafka, Karel Capek...I thought it will be good for me too, just joking...that was the main reason to visit this cafe, for me, it was the kind of sightseeing. It was built in 1902 and is a very popular place ever since.

Favorite Dish: I had breakfast and it was nice and cheap. Second time I went there with my husband and we had only coffee.

Restaurant Name: Municipal House cafe

It is nice to have a rest in this cafe. We did it on evry visit to Prague as it hard not to pass by.
When the weather allows we usualy seat outside but inside area is also beautiful.
Very Art Nouveau place! It is always crowded, so anyrhing you would like to eat here must be fresh.

Favorite Dish: Cofes and cakes is all we tryed here. Cakes are fresh and tasty.

Restaurant Name: Ambiente-Pizza Nuova

Eat as much as you can for about 13 euros. Buffet salads and starters bar plus all sorts of hot pizzas and pastas. So if you are hungry and like Italian food don't miss it!
The other restaurants of the same chain serve mostly american food, I didn't go to any of them but I will nex time.

Restaurant Name: Ristorante Pizzeria Giovanni

Very romantic restaurant offering grat food as well as the service. We as usual took the pizzas, they were very good and big.
The restaurant also serves vegetarian, seafood, steaks....
The choice is very good indeed.

Restaurant Name: Taj Mahal

This was my first indian food experience. I loved the flavour of the food. It was very unusual and exotic to me. We took tandoori chiken, the rice and two kinds of indian bread. It was great.
The place was nicely decorated and very clean. The staff were trying their best to help us choose the dishes as it was our first time in indian restaurant.

Restaurant Name: Coffee Heaven

Without a doubt this chain of the coffeehouses is one of the best. They offer all sorts and variations of coffee you can immagine as well as delicious sandwiches and cakes.
This chain started its buisness in Poland and is growing constantly no wonder why!

Favorite Dish: My favourit spot is in the one on Na Prikope Street, upstairs in the armchaur next to the window. Beautiful views to one of the buisiest street in Prague !!!
