To be honest, I very much oprefer Bucharest! I find Paris too overrated, and soulless comparing to this beautiful Romanian city! Everything is so BEAUTIFUL over there, full of spirit, soul, warmth and culture.
Amazing architecture, broad and spacious streets and boulevards, romantic parks and lots of green...

People's house, or parliament. A megalomaniac building by Causescu, not nearly as necessary, and quite pretentious, but I can't resist saying, I totally LOVE it!!!! Very impressive!!! |

This is where Lenin's statue dominated for years, and in the post-communist era they removed it. That's a pity, I think, because it was a mrak of one time, that has been carved into the country's pores so deeply, and at least as a monument it should have remained there...
I still get impressed with hugeness of space! |
