Tremezzo is a small, lovely place on the Como's side of the lake, famous for its spectacular Villa Carlotta, the true pearl of the lake and perhaps the most beautiful villa around. The gardens are the loveliest I have ever seen! The place is more famous for this villa than for itself!

PLEASE take time to see ALL the photos! There are all five travelogues, AND each tip has several photos! Don't be lazy to click on each one of them! The place is truly EXQUISITE!

Azalea flowers are Tremezzo's greatest chant. You should go ther in May when they are in full bloom and when Villa Carlotta is a divine place out of this world!

Fantastic gardens and view of the lake and mountains! I agree that it is very worthwhile to do some clicking and look at all the photos.

An absolutely beautiful page! I have only seen the Villa Carlotta from Lago di Como itself, so you have made it come alive for me. All your photos are so beautiful, and the ones taken at dusk are quite magical.
