The most popular Egyptian holiday resort, a fantastic town on the Red Sea, the most beautiful and warmest sea in the world, extremely rich with submarine life and a real paradise for scba divers and snorkeling! Unlike Sharm El Sheikh, which is a "fake" town - just hotels, Hurgada is a real town, with native inhabitants. It stretches for 40 km along the sea, with several hundreds of hotels and a main street full of shops, cafes, restaurants, clubs... It is where you can meet the locals and have fun in extremely rich nightlife. Hurgada's best is it SEA. As soon as you hop in, you are sure to have extraoridnary beauty (only if you have a mask or glasses), you don't need special excursions to meet the fantastic submarine world, it is right there in front of your nose! But if you want, many excursions can be made - to Sharm El Sheikh, Cairo, Luxor, safari in the desert, a cruise with a glass bottom boat, a trip in the submarine, visit to the coral islands... Hurgada is divided into two main parts - "old" Hurgada with the main shopping street, Egyptians call it Sakkala (I'm not sure of the spelling) and it's very vivid and lively there! And, there is the "new" Hurgada which resembles Sharm El Shekih - hotels only, it's neat, clean and ARTIFICIAL. I prefer old Hurgada. This was my second trip to Hurghada (first was in 2003), and nothing much changed, except that many new things were built! One thing is sure - you can't be bored, and you can't NOT to like it! So... ENJOY!!!

First thing you can try is to shout "haram" Arabic for forbidden and sin. If it does not help, report serious sexual harassment to the police. | ib2006 Tue Jun 27, 2006 12:25 UTC Thats so positive ,, i am realy glad you are saying that about hurghada Hope your third trip will be more great |
