A fascinating city with impresive by the sea 25 km long avenue, wonderful architecture, amazing gardens (Montazah), beautiful mosques, little streets and local citizens hospitality. With the scent of the Mediterranean... I just LOVE it!

Have dreamed of visiting Alexandria ever since I first read "Justine" - the book that defines the city. Nice page - Justine is the first of 4 books that make up Lawrence Durrell's Alexandrai Quartet - fantastic reading. leyle |
