Does this page really need an intro? I doubt there is a person who doesn't know what Giza plateau is. However, it may be different from what you imagine or expect. For instance, for me, the first striking difference was the size of the Sphinx, I imagined it much bigger. Or the fact that the city begins just on the doorstep of the pyramids! And then, there are lots of annoying sellers trying to sell you all kinds of stuff, following you, pulling your sleeve, etc. Or offering camels in exchange for you. :)
But it surely is a place out of this world.

Great page! Oh, i found out that a committee was formed to try and encourage travel to Llanfair. The name was invented by a cobbler who supposedly implemented one of the most successful tourist marketing plans of all time. Hmm.. i don't know! ;))
