When one utters the name Colombia a few disturbing thoughts come to mind: drugs, guerillas, war, among others. However, last summer I spent 3 lovely weeks in Colombia. I found out what many are missing. Colombia is the gem of South America. It is such a kewl place I know I need to return there someday.
I have posted my travelogue in here along with several tips.
*** Please check the latest news in Colombia. As of Spring 2002, the cease-fire between the government and the guerilla had ended so the conflict is back to red heat. If the situation persists, I wouldn’t recommend a visit just yet.
