San Salvador Travel Guide: 156 reviews and 418 photos
I visited San Salvador in 2001. I stayed with a friend of the family, Jose Eduardo, for several days. After traveling for nearly 2 months it was nice to spend a week in a civilized, clean, place :).
The marks of El Salvador's civil war are still present. As I mentioned in my El Salvador page, there are more guns in San Salvador then any other county I’ve been to (with the exception then some areas in the US, such as Texas <g>, I guess ).
