Parque Nacional Chirripo, a national park of Costa Rica, protects the grounds of the highest peak in Costa Rica. The hike up to the peak takes 2-3 days going from a tropical forest environment, across cloud forest, and finally to tundra like environment on top.

Sounds like quite a climb, but looks like it was worth it for the views!! Very interesting blue vegetation on the side of the mountain beside the accommodations site!!
