La Paz is the highest capital city on Earth. You have to spend time in La Paz when visiting Bolivia. Although I usually frown upon large cities, this one will forever hold a piece of my heart.

- In a nutshell:This is trully an amazing city high above the clouds :)

So, did you buy a llama fetus before going on your bike trip on the Death road?
You deserve major kudos for taking the extra effort to report the thief - most people wouldn't, and they bank on that! Cheers to you.
The street scammers work in pairs. The lost Bolivian tourist was part of the duo, to add authenticity to the cop when he would show him his documentation and to make you less cautious about showing your wallet and passport.
I loved the witches' market as well - nice travellogue!!
