"Uyuni: the sleepy town of Bolivia" Uyuni by darthmilmo
Uyuni Travel Guide: 299 reviews and 907 photos
The town of Uyuniis not much to brag about, but the trips one can make from there are breathless. Just walk to the Patio Sur to visit the imfamous train cemetary that will have leave you breathless on a clear or semi-cloudy day. Further afield, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND the 4x4 truck tour to the beautiful Salar de Uyuni and the Reserva Nacional de Fauna Andina Eduardo Avaroa. This is one of the most beautiful spots on Earth in my humbly opinion.
- Pros:Near the Salar de Uyuni and lagunas!
- Cons:sleepy town
- In a nutshell:Visit Uyuni for the nearby jewels, but not for the town itself
