Things To Do: legoland
  • Tip Rating:
  • legoland is the most famous amusement park in western denmark.
the cool thing about the place is that there are many things in the park that challenges the kids creativity.
i would say the park is a must if you bring your kids, but most adults on thier own would probaply wanna skip it.

Things To Do: traditional danish houses.
  • Tip Rating:
  • Denmark - danish country house.

  • in denmark you will see quite a few houses with a roof made out of straw.
this used to be the way all houses were made and it looks really cool.
the main problem is that they catch fire easily, so therefor insurance is high on these houses.
that means you don't see too many these days, but they are still there, so come and see them before expensive insurance kills them.

  • copenhagen is without doubt the biggest tourist attraction in denmark and you should try to spend at least a couple of days there.
it´s a city that is big enough to seem international but small enough to reatin the charm of a small place.

    Things To Do: Roskilde
  • Tip Rating:
  • Denmark - the cathedral in roskilde.
  • the cathedral in roskilde.

  • Roskilde is located 30 kilometers from copenhagen and is one of the most interesting towns in denmark.
it's often forgotten a little bit because of it's proximity to copenhagen, but it's a very interesting town that is certainly worth a day or two.
the cathedral in roskilde is one of the nicest in the country and the viking ship museum is in my opinion the most interesting museum in denmark.
the viking ship museum is located down by the harbour onlt 5 minutes walk from the cathedral.

Roskilde is also the host of one of the biggest music festivals in europe.
it takes place the first weekend in july.

    Things To Do: svendborg.
  • Tip Rating: [Not enough ratings yet]
  • svenborg is a nice town by the sea in southern denmark with old houses and narrow street.
it's a town that has always had a big connection to the sea as many navigators came from there back in the old days before sattelite navigation.
svendborg is located on the island of fyn and makes a good base for exploring the neaby small islands.

    Things To Do: faaborg
  • Tip Rating: [Not enough ratings yet]
  • faaborg is a nice old charming town localed on the southern part of the island fyn.
it's a town that has always had lot's of artists and these days it has also become an important place for the danish movie industry after they opend film studios there a few years back.
it's one of the prettiest and most romatin towns in denmark in my opinion.
