    • Favorite Thing: if you are in copenhagen in the summer you should take a walk through the pedestian area and listen to street musicians while you are drinking the beer you bought in a cheap supermarket(about 8 times cheaper than a street cafe) and enjoy that copenhagen is one of the most laid back capitals in europe.

    • Favorite Thing: the danish movie scene is very vibrant and a lot of good stuff is coming out from there at the moment.
    this is very much thanks to the director lars von trier who spend all the money that he makes on his movies on new productions and gives a lot of young talents a chance to show what they can do.
    try and check out a couple of danish movies before your trip.

    • Favorite Thing: the swan is the national bird of denmark.
    one reason is that you see a lot of them here and another one is that hans christian andersen wrote the famous fairytale anbout the ugly duckling.
    it's also one bird that dosen't migrate south when it gets cold in the winter so you will see it no matter what time of year you come as long as you hit the danish shores.
