Denmark is a small country tucket in between Germany, Sweden and Norway.
It´s a flat country with small rolling hills and a very green place.
Denmark is quite heavily populated, not with big cities, but with small provinsial towns ebvery couple of miles.
It´s still a farming country even if farming is becoming less important Medical companies, windmills and other hi tech is how Denmark makes money these days.
Despite being fairly congested, Denmark still has a lot of idyllic countryside, mostly due to the fact that the country has a lot of small islands where life is still lived at a slower pace and if you have the time for it, then you should certainly make your way to the countryside to experience this part of Denmark aswell.
- Pros:my family and generous paychecks
- Cons:too many people who think that we don't need the rest of the world

Well, we finally made it to your standing-we have a Legoland park now too. It is not as big, nor do we have all the nice monuments like your country features. Good pictures
Nice tips...get well soon and have a safe train ride. :) Happy birthday to your brother. :)
Nice page! The Viking ship museum sounds really good, and may be fun out on the water in a ship!
Would love to visit such a beautiful place. You've given me such a wonderful tour that I enjoyed. Lovely page!
Thank you Claus for your excellent page about your wonderful country which I happened to visit only once and dream to come back again.
I've never been to Denmark but would like to some day. I never even knew it had windmills like Holland and thatched houses like England! Good local customs tips too - seems the Danes also drink like the English ;-)
Thank you for your kinds words, Claus - I hope you will revisit Vidin. Also, very thoughtful of you to post what the "hot" topics in Denmark are - would love to bring a few of them them up locally. Cheers, Marina
nice to have met you in person...my viking biker idol! take care on your trips and have great fun trekking sagada. hope to see you again somewhere...do i here laos? ;0)
I had a glimpse at Denmark each time I drove to Norway and Sweden but I sure should have stayed longer! Next time! No "please", how strange!
Lovely, Denmark was the first country I visited when I was 8 :D and I have visited it so many times since then. We have pretty much the same "drinking customs" here in Iceland. Regína Hrönn
