"The cradle of bullfighting." Ronda by cachaseiro

Ronda Travel Guide: 511 reviews and 1,389 photos

Ronda is a beautiful town set in a very dramatic location nesting on a steep cliff that gives it a very dramatic view.
It´s also the place where bullfighting first took place and you have the oldest bullfighting arena in the world.
The town had a very nice old part that is cetainly worth exploring and even if you are not a fan of bullfighting then it´s still worth visiting the arena if nothing then for historical reasons.

Hope to visit here in a couple of months for a few hours. Fantastic views! Not interested in bull fighting - against it, but the town looks marvelous. Thanks for the tips.

Thanks to you, Claus, I found out that Andalusia is not only Sevilla and Granada but Ronda as well. Next Spanish trip I'll try to get there.

Bull-fighting is not really my kind of thing ! I am sure there are more efficient ways to get beef-steaks for my dinner...

Claus, Gibraltar was great, as Ronda and Marbella have been too. Is your knee still okay?
