Getting TO/AROUND: ankara is well linked with train to most major towns in turksy and while the busses are fine the train is even better. the train station is also more centrally located than the bus station, so my suggestion is that you take the train if possible. the train station in ankara is quite ok. it has cafes, barber shops and even a train museum, so you do not need to be bored while waiting for the train.

This hotel looks good as we plan to spend one night in Ankara and only need a place to sleep . I phoned twice to make a reservation but always someone who doesn't speak english answered the call. Well, I'll try again as there is still plenty of time. | globetrott Fri Nov 2, 2007 20:14 UTC
