goreme is one of the most magic places i have visited in more than 20 years of travelling.
it lies in cappadocia where you have thousands of weird and wonderful rock formations due to lot's of prehistoric vulcanic activity and then thousands of years where the weather and water has made cappadocia a place that looks like another planet.

it's kinda hard to descripe cappadocia, so my advice is first look at the pictures and then go yourself.
you won't regret it.

We looked for sth cheap first. But after first meal we realised that it was a lucky shot indeed. We visited the cafe every day during our stay in Goreme. Thank you for your kindness and excellent food. Greetings from your Polish frıends from the UK

What a magic place! The fairy-tale rock formations of Cappadocia have always attracted me and would love to fly hot air balloon too. Ortahisar with a rock castle on the top looks very nice and a cave pension a lovely place to stay :)
