Because of Syrias isolation from the rest of the world, Damascus remains very much the same it was a few decdes ago.
Itīs very arabic and the people in Damascus are among the most welcoming i have met anywhere in this world.
Most people there are genuinely interested in meeting foreigners to hear what they have to say about their nation as they are not so used to visitors there.
Itīs a very exotic place that i would recommend you to visit before Syria joins the rest of the world and Damascus becomes another Dubai. |
