  • Petra palace has become a lot better in the past few months.
I was not too happy about the place when i was there in october 2008 as a lot of electrical installations and other things did not work, but this has been changed now 5 months later.
The place is now a very well run place and the rooms are realy good and everything works fine there.
The location right by the entrance to Petra is very nice too.

Unique Qualities: very friendly staff and a good location.

Taybet Zaman Hotel and Resort: fantastic luxury hotel.

  • The taybet zaman is a 5 star hotel of my liking.
Itīs nothing like your average boring Hilton or Marriot, but a very unique and tasty hotel buiold in a way so it bleds in with the local architecture in the small village where it is situated.
It has all the facilities you can expect from a good hotel like pool, good restaurants, a buisness room a sauna, etc.
The rooms are situated in small one story buildings and have a very local touch.
Itīs not like many other luxury hotels where you donīt know whther you are in Petra or Pittsburgh.

Petra Inn.: Fairly good but falling apart.

  • Petra Inn is in most ways your average tourist hotel, but it is a bit tired in some ways.
The bothrooms were falling a bit apart in some of the rooms and the hotel is a not very well lit and a bit of a dark place.
The staff was very nice though, especially at the restaurant and i would go back there again even if it wouldn't be my first choice.

    Unique Qualities: Good location.

  • The Amra palace hotel is a nice tourist hotel with many nice touches to it.
The rooms are pleasant and the dining room nice too.
There is a nice pool area and turkish bath with massage too.
I stayed there a couple of nights and quite liked the place, but be aware that it is located close to the biggest mosque in Wadi Musa, so you will get a free wake up call in the morning when the first prayer is due.
Also be aware that the hotel does not serve alcohol.
This is a good hotel if you wish to explore the own of Wadi Musa aswell as Petra.
