Rio is a place with an amazing atmosphere and a very vibrant place.
it´s surely one of the most panoramic cities in the world.
There are a few snakes in paradise, but they are easily avoided by choosing the right part of town.
Copacabama is one of the places i think people should just go and see for an afternoon and then stay elsewhere.
It´s on beaches like ipanema, leblon and flamengo beach you have the ordinary brazilians and not the pickpckets and prostitutes.
make sure to make it to the statue of christ for some of the best views this world has to offer and to maracana football stadium for great football atmosphere.
last but not least, take your time to get to know the city and it´s inhabitants.
the people who don´t like rio are almost always the people who just skated through, while the peoĺple who stayed on and got to know the cariocas (inhabitants of rio) have a lifelong love affair with the place. |
