Hua hin is a fairly quiet resort town set in a small Thai provinsial town.
The Thai roal family holidays there and that means the place has a lot less of the sleazy prostitution scene you see elewhere in other Thai resorts.
For the same reason, Hua Hin is very popular with families.
It's located close to Bangkok which also means it's a favorite hangout for upper/middle class thais from Bangkok during weekends.

Thailand has so much to offer, I enjoyed my trip there tremendously, but it is time to go back and your pages have just confirmed that

Love the train station. This place looks like a nice alternative to the usual (Phuket, Koh Samui)
