Cape May is a cute Victorian-looking town on the southernmost tip of New Jersey. It has the basic assortment of cute shops, restaurants, and places to get saltwater taffy and other sweets. Additionally, there's a nice beach to walk along, and not too far away there's a lighthouse that can be climbed for a small fee. It makes a really nice day trip, especially if you're coming from Philadelphia or Atlantic City. I made it from Princeton, which is maybe 2-2:30 hours away; a perfect day trip distance for me! :) |
