Sedona - Sedona

I think Sedona is mentioned in the country song "There is no Arizona," which is a very good song. At any rate, raise your hands if you've heard of Sedona! :) Maybe a handful of you have. Well, there are a couple sides to Sedona. One side is natural beauty and recreation. I believe there's some good bike riding and light rafting here. Aside from that, just the natural red rock beauty of the area. Really, it's a lovely area of Arizona and is heightened in beauty by a wonderful drive from Flagstaff to Sedona, which takes you through Oak Creek Canyon... just wonderful!!

Oh, the other side to Sedona is sort of for tourists. But it's nice, not trashy. There are some artists here, so you'll find some artisan shops selling paintings or metalwork. You'll also find some good food... well, I thought it was excellent, and I loved my raspberry cheesecake! ;)

Oh, but, you could spend days or just a couple hours here. It depends on what you have time for.

    My Grandparents, Roy & Dena Irwin owned this place during the John Ford movie days (40's,50's,60's & 70's) I remember it well as a child,and it was beautiful! Any info you can send me, pictures, menu's, etc, would be appreciated. Billie Marie Romano

    we've had ratlle snake and since we don't have that in our country ( netherlands) we tried it. just to be short we liked the food a lot and had a great time at the rainbows end andin sedona!!! we'll be back. greetzzz
