Canada is a very large country and has so much to offer. Unfortunately, I've only been to the three largest cities on the East Coast : Montreal, Ottawa and Toronto. I wished I had more time to see more and most of all see the countryside, lakes and woods.

The reason of my first trip to Canada was my best friend. She was an exchange student in Montreal while I was in the US. It made us get together easier, both of us being in the same continent.

I flew into Montreal. I stayed a few days visiting the city then we rented a car and drove south towards Ottawa first. We just stayed the afternoon there, enough time to visit the Parliament. After that, we headed towards Toronto and arrived in time for dinner.

We stayed two days in Toronto, the first one was spent at Niagara Falls and the second on visiting the city.

I've always had a good impression of Canada. I know people who live there and these latter told me that Canadians are very nice and welcoming, nature is very present everywhere, life is cheaper than in France...
