Place du Tertre, Montmartre As I mentioned in my 'Must-see activities', place du Tertre in Montmartre is a nice place to visit because of all the artists showing their work. There are also a lot of so called french traditionnal restaurants. I've brought one visiting friend to eat in one of the restaurants and that was the last time ever. I was disapointed by the quality of the food served. I remembered I had a crepe and it didn't taste good at all. Nothing compared to the real crepe I've always known. Moreover, I think the food is expensive there. In certain restaurants, the servers have to dress up : it's really sketchy ! I would recommend you to have coffee at Place du Tertre because it's nice to sit there and watch people but NOT eating there !!

Comments for Lemonita about Paris | | | | |
benmoses Mon Jan 5, 2009 17:29 UTC We just moved to Paris, found this place to be really friendly and sweet -- with wonderful, inexpensive food - and the owner always has jazz on the radio in the background. Highly recommended. We're taking friends there in the snow tonight (5 Jan 2008). | Marisola Wed Mar 12, 2008 00:40 UTC I love your travelogues on Paris! How did you get so lucky to stay there so long! Great pics! | bpacker Mon Sep 5, 2005 03:20 UTC You are right about Maisons de glaces Bertillon!
