WELCOME TO PARIS!
Paris has been my home for some 5 years but I can't say that I'm that familiar with this great city. I am still discovering the capital everyday. Indeed, there are a lot of places I haven't been to, that I haven't heard of, things I haven't done...
I read some VT pages on Paris and was quite surprised to see that Paris IS, by definition, the city of ROMANCE and LOVE. I see this city differently. But I can completely understand why other people think of France's capital as very romantic.
I used to spend every summer holidays in France, since I was 7. Paris is synonymous to FUN for me. I loved this city, maybe was it the idea of travelling because summer was the only time I got to leave Hong Kong.
Anyways, being on holidays and actually living in a city is so different... When I was studying and later working, I was so focused on my studies/work that I didn't make the most of the city and sometimes, I just forgot that Paris has so much to offer. Until some friends came to visit me from the United States. I took 10 days off from work and took my friends out to visit Paris and soak in all that French culture has to offer. Thanks to my friends' visit, I realized how lucky I am to be living in such a beautiful capital...
The pictures that appear on this Paris page have been taken both by one of my friends and myself.

benmoses Mon Jan 5, 2009 17:29 UTC We just moved to Paris, found this place to be really friendly and sweet -- with wonderful, inexpensive food - and the owner always has jazz on the radio in the background. Highly recommended. We're taking friends there in the snow tonight (5 Jan 2008). | Marisola Wed Mar 12, 2008 01:40 UTC I love your travelogues on Paris!
