On secret, but maybe not so on the quiet, the tourist association of Konstanz and the german railway erected her: the Imperia at the marina of Konstanz. The next morning, Konstanz's city fathers looked horrified at the result of this cloak-and-dagger operation: the Imperia-statue didn't look at all like a roman goddess but was a prostitute which, during the council of Konstanz (1414-1418), grant the temporal and ecclesiastical powers nice hours.
And that, without asking the city council! Whereupon this important people of course immediately decided - against the willing of the population - that the statue has to disappear. And that should straight be done.
There the nearby city Friedrichshafen signed up: If Konstanz wants to get rid of the Imperia, they would like to decorate their marina with it.
But that wasn't all right by the Konstanz's city council though. Before they give anything to Friedrichshafen, they live with the statue by themselves!
And so the Imperia is still rotating at the marina of Konstanz, pride and marvellous, holding a prince and a bishop in her hands.

I love watching the sky, the changing of the colour during the day and the clouds building up thousands of fantastic forms and moving with the wind.
