We wanted to explore that tip of the peninsula, since the St. Teresa Beach in Malpa?s is meant to have good surf. Since we were planning to take a couple of steady days to relax we decided to set in Montezuma. And i'm very glad we did!
Situated on the end of the Nicoya Peninsula, Montezuma it's a small town that?s definitely one of my favorite places in CR. This funky town it?s set at the bottom of the hill, surrounded by forest. It?s a mix of the small traditional houses with health-food, international cuisine restaurants, cool shops and all the typical ?sodas?. Is has a cool varied environment with the alternative life-style types. And because we are in Costa Rica it?s also surrounded by nature! Just over a bridge, south of town, a path leads to 2 waterfalls. |
