    • Toiletries & Medical Supplies: Bring all the medicines that you might need for general ailments like viral fever, gastric infections, etc. It is very difficult to get the western medicines. I had severe food poisoning but still had to go without medicines coz I couldn't find it anywhere, and I wasn't too enthusiastic about Chinese medicine

     Ditto on this. I was just in Beijing and walked 3 blocks to the hotel and had 4 offers. If you are a single guy expect it.
