"Hopfgarten" Hopfgarten im Brixental by juniperjune

We were in Hopfgarten for the day. We took a Gondola ride up the Ski mountain and had lunch about half way up. I had the best ever Goulash! And Austrian beer is mighty tasty, I must say!

During the winter months, the stores close during the lunch hours. They will be open early moring, then around dinner time. They close because everyone is on the Ski slopes. Even the banks are closed. So beware!

Ski Slopes Hopfgarten

We were in Hopfgarten for a few hours. We were there for lunch. It was worth it to pay for the Gondola ride up the mountain just to habe lunch. The view was breath taking, the food mouth watering and the Austrian beer warmed me up (or was it whatever the South African boys and the Aussies gave me to drink from their paper bag??? No idea what it was called, it tasted like caramel and they all could not believe I liked the stuff!)
