    • TRAFFIC JAMS!!! They're everywhere and impossible to escape from once you are in one.
    A real hazard, and you must allow hours on your time to get to the destination. Especially if that destination is the airport and you have a flight to catch!!!
    Some local knowledge can help, for times to avoid the worst jams, or for routes that are possibly longer but faster. And remember, taxis are not immune from this problem.

    • Watch out for the cockroaches! They are pretty big! I guess you just have to learn to live with them, as they seem to appear often. I'm not used to that, so it seems nasty to me, but probably not as bad as I imagine.
