  • This is really no ordinary zoo. More to the point it is a Conservation Centre that prides itself on the saving and rescueing of animals and breeds, and leads the way in some of these aspects.

    Something for everyone here, there is an amusement park, a swimming pool and even a skytrain, for everyone.

    Open 0900hrs - 1700hrs daily.
    There are special night opportunities, depending on time of year, check the website for info.

    Directions:
    20kms from Bogor,
    80kms from Bandung,
    78kms from Jakarta.

  • Visit Bogor, a town more steeped in tradition than Jakarta. There are some different sights to see there like this 'taxi'. Not quite the pressure of Jakarta, you can get the feel of the people a little more here.

     Pam- interesting page on Indonesia- with good photos. I would love to see a Komodo Dragon. They look so pre-historic. In summer here in Sydney(Milsons Point) we have flying cockies coming in the windows Lol!
