Quality buys at the Chateau shops.

There are various shops situated in the small village at the entrance to Chambord. Selling icecreams, food, coffee, souvenirs, memorabilia, etc.

What to buy: I can honestly recommend the quality of items sold in this area. From silver jewellery to deerfoot/antler items. Collectables and souvenirs, they are all of high quality and I have not regretted buying some of them. You may have to spend more than average, however it is well worth it.
I bought a lovely silver ring with the Fleur de Lis, and a nice tapestry (ok machine made but nice) and an etching of the chateau. Real nice momentos.

Directions: At the entrance to Chambord Chateau, after you have left the carpark and head for the entrance gate.
