Awaroa Harbour and Lodge.

I'm transferring from the old VT (travelogues) to here, so please bare with me while I rebuild this page.
We stayed a few nites at the Awaroa Lodge, deep in the Abel Tasman National Park.
Sea Kayaking is one of the main activities.

Totaranui Beach.

This is the true colour of the sand down in Abel Tasman National Park. It's amazing and rather stunning. Not all the photos show the true colour but this one does.

Awaroa Inlet.

Awaroa Inlet is where Awaroa Lodge is situated. There is plenty to do, and lots of tracks and corners to explore.

Pros and Cons
  • Pros:Beauty, secluded, at one with nature.
  • Cons:Isolated and few facilities.
  • In a nutshell:Crystal clear waters, bright orange beaches!

What a stunning place - so remote and beautiful with vivid colours and splendid isolation. The kayaking looks great!
